Once awarded by AENA to FCC Costruction the expansion of the Terminal Building of Gran Canaria Airport -located in the village of Gando- and in the framework of cooperation between the various companies that comprise FCCCo, Espelsa, along with Tecair, have decided to collaborate together with FCCco in the execution of this work by combining their respective expertise and capabilities, based on a Consortium Agreement Procedure.

FCCCo, as the company in charge of the works to expand the mentioned airport, manages this ambitious project, endowed with a budget of 126.4 million euros,with the objective to increase passenger capacity, to improve service quality and to increase user commercial offer, while providing a more modern and unique remodeling of the building.

While the ampliation work began in early 2009, the presence of Espelsa in this consortium, has occurred since last July and represents a share of the 11% of the total budget awarded.
